Happy Wednesday! I am trying very, very hard to keep up with my new editorial calendar which allows me to post two to three times a week! Thats right! two to three times a week, which is amazing and I have a whole book dedicated to ideas for blog posts that I want to share a write about.
Have you watched my recent stories? I got a “loner” phone from Apple and I am now using an iPhone 8, until my iPhone XS Max is ready to. be picked up and tbh I can’t wait. I feel like this phone is the tiniest thing ever and I miss my giant screen (first world problems I know).
I have been meaning to do this post for a while now, and I plan on making it a recurring monthly post. Let’s start with beauty stuff and makeup because thats something I always need more of because I am a Professional Makeup Artist and the summer is my busiest time.
Summer Friday’s Jet Lag Mask – If you have an Instagram account than I guarantee you have seen Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Gores’s Summer Friday line, specifically this Jet Lag Mask. I plan on doing a face mask blog post and I will include this one so keep an eye out if you want more information about it.
SoSu Dripping Gold Luxury Tanning, in Ultra Dark Mousse – I first herd about this tanning product from Whitney Simmons. At the time I was using the St. Tropez tanning mousse and just wasn’t impressed with it anymore (I still recommend St. Tropez if you’re new to self tanning). I love that this self tan has a red undertone rather than a green or orange as some of the other self tanners are. It looks great on my olive skin tone, but might not look good on everyone especially if you’re more on the pale side. *See below for the pricing.
Isle of Paradise Dark Self Tanning Drops – I was originally looking into buying Loving Tan but for the price I was going to pay for only one bottle, I could buy a full bottle of Sosu Dripping Gold AND the Isle of Paradise Tanning Drops! that was a no brainer to me. I use the Sosu Tanning Mousse once a week and maintain it with the drops that I mix in my moisturizer after every shower if not every day.
MAC Prep + Prime Summer Scents – I ran out of this and have several up coming weddings so I needed to restock asap! I have probably been using this loyally for over 10 years and I have no been disappointed yet.
Nuxe Hair and Body Oil – I LOVE LOVE LOVE this! I actually first used it in high school for the beach and I recently came across it again at Shopper’s Drug Mart. At the time they were offering a buy one get a gift set (which I used for travel), and I just use it on my body like along my arms, legs, stomach and I even mix it with my suncreen to help my skin look super glowing and healthy.
Beauty Blender – I think I posted my old one a few days ago and OMG it was BAD! I think it even started moulding.. I know guys don’t judge me. Well I finally got around to buying a new one, and its honestly something I use with every makeup application.. just not when I’m doing brides. I don’t like pushing on someones face like that, I’d rather use a Kabuiki brush.
Baby Bum Bubble Bath & Shampoo and Wash – I had these before and just loved the way it smelled. I also like that that the product has pretty simple ingredients and I don’t mind them sitting out because they actually look pretty unlike some other baby shampoo’s and stuff.
Huggies Pull Ups – We are officially into Pull Ups!! I think they are really easy to use and P likes them. If you have any other brands you love, please let me know in the comments.
Goldfish Pretzels – We’re all hooked on these! I brought them to the cottage and now my dad’s obsessed. Needless to say when we go grocery shopping I have to get at least 3 bags to last us now. I’m sure we will eventually get sick of them but for now this is what we’re loving.
White Barn Hand Soaps – I always, always have these amazing smelling soaps at our home. If you come over you will see I always have a stash of these soaps, and I love that they come in different scents for summer, fall, winter and spring! (My favourites are the fall scents of pumpkin, spices and candied apples) You’ll thank me later.
White Barn Wallflower’s – I have the wall flowers from Bath and Body Works all over our house. I really enjoy how it makes our home smell, and I love that some of them can even be used as a night light. I use the night lights in our bathroom and in the kitchen so I can see at night.
