Penelope’s 17 month update is here and where has the time gone!? I feel like I’m saying this to everyone I see, but it’s true she is growing so fast and its bitter sweet. Part of me loves the independent toddler she’s becoming but part of me wants to hold in my arms a little longer.
What most people wanted to know was what our schedule looks like for her at 17 months old, because there’s a lot that has changed over the last few months.

Penelope’s Schedule:
7 am – WAKE UP
7:30 am – 6 oz bottle of 2% milk
8 am – Read a book or sing/listen to a song.
9 am – Make breakfast & prepare snacks for the day.
10 am – Most days Penelope plays and I use this time to shower and get ready.
11- 12 – We do errands at this time, go to appointments or my sister will come over so I can work on some things for the blog and my social media.
12:30 – Lunch
1 – 2:30 pm- Nap and sometimes a 4oz bottle depending on how she’s feeling, sometimes she will want one as comfort if she’s teething.
3:00 pm- PLAY
5:00 pm – Put on a movie or go out for a walk
6:00 pm- Dinner
7:00 pm – Bath time
7:30pm – 6 oz Bottle
8:00 pm – Book and bedtime
What Penelope eats:
Penelope has always been a great eater, since the day she was born she loved to eat (seriously I would be breast feeding her constantly). Around 9 months we started with puree’s from Fragola Organic Baby Food, and then directly to solids and she hasn’t skipped a beat since. Her favourite foods are oatmeal, tater tots, pretzel gold fish, sugar-free freezies, bananas, grapes, apples and of course macaroni which we usually make Annie’s macaroni and cheese.

What Penelope loves:
Moana, Peppa pig, and Baby shark are her absolute favorites to watch on YouTube Kids which I like too since I have full control over what she can view from my iPhone. She loves to swim and dance, and did I mention swim!? she loves to talk and she’s getting quite good at it. Her best friend is “Min” aka mini mouse and they love to read this book, push around this doll carriage, and this shopping cart. But I think the best is this little playhouse, these alphabet magnets, and this First Words card set.

I don’t know where these last 17 months have gone but I am so in love with her. The way she calls for me and says “mama” or “mommy”, and when we say “I love..” she answers with “you!” and blows a kiss. She is such a special and beautiful princess and I know I’m biased but ugh I can’t get enough of her.
Do you have kids? if you do what are their ages?
(see below for her our things from clothes, toys, and skincare products)

Penelope is such a darling! I don’t have kids myself, but I have friends who do and it never ceases to amaze me how fast they grow!
