One of my favorite things has always been reading the Editor’s Letter of magazines like Harper’s Bazaar or Vogue. It gave me an inside look at what was happening in the fashion industry and what inspired that monthly editorial.
I really wanted to emulate that on the blog, and have a place to share my inspiration and plans for the month ahead. So at the beginning of every month, you will see my “Editors Letter” and it’s there I will share the things that have inspired me from the previous month. I will share the books I’m currently reading, the songs and podcasts I’m listening to and what my calendar holds for the month ahead.
My hope is to inspire you to look at the world around you (even if it’s just your home right now) and find small joys and activities that make you the happiest.

I am also listening to Wit & Delights Podcasts, all of the episodes are amazing and very relatable to me right now. She speaks of being in a relationship, being a parent and running a blogging business. But her mental health talks are my favorite and I think almost everyone can relate to that.

As a creative, my highest self is when I feel the most inspired to create — I’ve been feeling a lot more creative lately, the words have been flowing and so have the photos. In March I decided I would continue my online learning and take some Skillshare classes. It’s really been inspiring for me to participate in writing, photography and marketing classes. Right now you can get 2 months for free by using this link, and enjoy some inspiration for into your life.

Since we most likely are social distancing for a while longer, I plan on writing more, reading more, and focusing on there here and now. I see a lot of morning walks along the water, afternoon bbq’s, and lots of backyard dates.
But before you go I wanted to share this quote that I came across the other day, “In uncertain times, certain things become more clear”. I’ve seen a lot of good things happening lately, people pulling together to give a helping hand to small businesses and each other. Living through this scary time has made me understand how important loved ones are, having a safe home and helping those in need.
